XMS Geocoding Library

AnalyGIS has just released version 2.021 of our XMS Geocoding Library for the .NET framework. Designed as a companion to our popular RoadRunnerTL street dataset, the XMS Geocoding Library allows developers of desktop and internet applications the ability to quickly and easily integrate geocoding functionality at a reasonable price.

The XMS Geocoding Library includes a number of enhancements to prior releases of the product. Version 2.0 now includes City/State lookups, Landmark lookups and ZIP Code lookups. Additionally, the XMS Geocoding Library now returns the Census Block, Block Group, Census Tract, County and State assignments for all street level matches. An improved scoring algorithm helps to ensure that users get the most appropriate match every time.  Depending on what search criteria is provided, i.e. Zip Code match only vs. full address matching, the XMS Geocoding Library can correctly match between 3,800 and 20,000 records per minute. 

AnalyGIS' XMS Geocoding Library provides developers with a simple, extensible .NET assembly that can quickly and easily be integrated into desktop applications, internet sites, or wrapped as a SOAP Web Service.  In addition to the .NET assembly, the XMS Geocoding library can be accessed with a legacy MFC DLL or ActiveX component.   

For each entry, a list of all possible matches is returned.  Candidates are given a match score and information such as latitude, longitude and Block Assignment are also provided, allowing for easy portability into any Geographic Information System (GIS).

The XMS Geocoding Library object model provides sophisticated geocoding capabilities in a simple-to-use assembly.
